Barangay Soom, Trinidad, Bohol – Forty mothers and young children from Barangays Soom, Mahagbu, and La Victoria received fortified soya rice meal packs, Vitamin A, and multivitamins –  thanks to the combined efforts and resources of Gota de Leche Manila and Quota International Cebu. This endeavor falls under the Outreach Nutrition Program for Pregnant and Lactating Mothers, with QI signing a MOA with Gota de Leche (represented by Dr. Malu Villavicencio, Medical Director of Gota De Leche together with social worker Farah Pareja) just the previous day.

In the agreement, Gota de Leche will supply the 40 registered beneficiaries with a year’s worth of fortified soya rice meals, along with vitamins and de-worming medication. For their part, QI Cebu agrees to regularly monitor the beneficiaries, and expand the outreach to more mothers as they see fit.
