Mangyan Year-End Relief Drive

Through mud, muck, and rain, the donation drive for Mangyans who traipsed up the mountain to get their relief goods (with some even barefoot) pushed through.

We would not have done this without the help of Ms. Maricel Montero of Museo Pambata who coordinated with the volunteers of Mindoro for the goods’ distribution, and Mr. Peter Mayot of SPEIM organization for organizing at the Mindoro end.

They came up with a list of recipients, who signed their names on the paper and received the goods for their families. Some of them also wrote Gota de Leche a thank you note to show their gratitude.

In turn, we extend our gratitude to the donors, volunteers, and coordinators who helped make this holiday miracle possible. People who volunteered goods, money, time, skills in management, categorizing, distributing, organizing, and transporting – all these proved invaluable for our year-end distribution of donations.

It is a brand new year, and we are hoping to continue spreading the milk of human kindness with your continuous and unwavering support.
